When Connor found out Lydia had used herself as bait and let Grace capture her to get information he'd nearly lost his mind with worry. Thank goodness... nothing terrible had happened.

"I'm right here, aren't I?" Lydia laughed softly.

Connor still sounded shaken. "You can't ever do something like that again."

"Don't worry. After this, things should calm down for a long while."

The cloning scandal exploded across the world. Connor, Lydia, and Garrett reported every detail to the government. Everyone involved in the crimes would finally face justice.

As they handled the aftermath, Iceblade gave Connor key evidence. All of Jackson's records about hiring a hitman to kill Connor were handed over to the authorities. Jackson had always been jealous of Connors place in the family and wanted to get rid of him, thinking afpassassin would solve his problem. He never expected his plan to fall apart so quickly.

As for Lucinda, the daughter of Night Eagle and Grace, she'd joined her mother in kidnapping Lydia. She'd even tried to kill her.
