Chapter 1330

chapter1330

The whole world had watched their wedding, and for Connor and Lydia, it was more than just a ceremony. This was their way of telling everyone that love, real love, had

won.

Once the celebration was over and the guests had finally left, the noise faded away, leaving Lydia's Garden wrapped in a gentle, romantic hush. Connor scooped Lydia into his arms, cradling her like she was the most precious thing in the world. His steps were slow and careful, every movement full of tenderness. Lydia's arms slipped around his neck, her cheeks still carrying the blush from earlier, her smile soft and bright, like it had been there all night.

When Connor pushed open the door to their suite, it was like stepping into a dream. The room glowed with warm light, everything bathed in a soft golden haze. Rose petals made a path across the floor straight to the bed. The air was scented with roses and something sweet and calming. For a moment, it felt like they had wandered into their own private fairy tale.

The bed was huge, draped with a delicate canopy and sparkling crystals that caught the light. Silky sheets covered the mattress. On the bedside table, two elegant swan-shaped candles flickered, casting a cozy glow. At the foot of the bed sat an ice bucket holding a fancy bottle of champagne, with two crystal flutes engraved with their initials right next to it.

Near the window, a small piano waited, topped with a card. It was a piece Connor had written just for Lydia. The windows themselves were decorated with strings of tiny, twinkling lights, making the whole place feel even warmer and more magical.

Connor set Lydia gently on the bed. He knelt to slip off her high heels, his hands gentle as he rubbed her tired feet. "Today must have worn you out, huh? You've done so much, my beautiful bride."

Lydia shook her head, smiling. "I'm alright." She meant it, too. If anyone had worked hard today, it was Connor, always making sure she was okay, looking after every guest, every friend and family member.

Connor stood, walked to the ice bucket, and poured champagne into the crystal glasses. He brought one to Lydia, helped her sit up, and smiled. "How about a toast? Just you and me.

Lydia laughed, her eyes shining, and clinked her glass with his. The champagne bubbles burst on her tongue a fizzy rush of sweetness. It tasted exactly like her mood effervescent, giddy, a little unreal.

After their toast, Connor set his glass aside and pulled Lydia close, wrapping her in his arms. He kissed her forehead, slow and deep. "Lydia, from now on you're my wife you're the one I want to protect for the rest of my life. No matter what happens, my love is yours. It always will be."

Lydia listened to his words, her heart full. She reached up, softly tracing the lines of his face, memorizing him. "I believe you, she whispered.

That was all it took. Connor leaned in and kissed her, unable to hold back any longer. Tonight, she was his bride, and the world outside didn't matter anymore.

Lydia couldn't see, but she could feel every bit of his love and heat. His kisses were everywhere,

overwhelming and impossible ton et

escape. At first, she tried to keep up, meeting his passion with her own, but Connor's energy was endless. She lost count of how many times he pulled her closer, how many times her whole body trembled from his touch, but his love never slowed, never faded.

He pressed his lips to her skin, his voice low and rough. "Lydia, I love you. I'll love

you forever. Nothing will ever change that."
