Chapter 394

chapter394

As Lydia was signing her name for a sweet-faced girl, the girl beamed and said, "Professor Cloyd told us."

Miss L was practically a legend. Actually meeting her felt impossible. Some of the people crowding around were students, some were interns, and others were just massive fans of the LYLX brand. They'd all asked Cloyd, the organizer, if Miss L would show up today. When he said yes, they'd snagged a spot and waited, hoping to get even a glimpse.

Cloyd was waiting too. He was actually the first to spot Lydia, but before he could reach her, the fans had rushed in, forming a wall around her and leaving him stranded on the edge, anxiously pacing.

Lydia got the hint and sped up her signing. The crowd just kept growing.

While she was busy with autographs, a man strode through the VIP entrance. He was tall and elegant, flanked by two bodyguards in black. His posture was straight and unyielding, every step full of quiet power. His face looked like it was carved from marble, with sharp brows and deep, cold eyes that made you want to look away. His nose was high and straight, his lips pressed in a line that made him seem both intimidating and impossible to ignore.

He wore a custom-tailored black suit that fit perfectly over his broad shoulders and trim waist, every detail just right. A crisp white shirt and a sleek black tie completed the look, and a diamond tie clip flashed at his collar as if to remind everyone he was someone important.

When he caught sight of all the fans crowding around someone and calling out "Miss L," he paused, a little surprised.

Miss L? The founder of LYLX? She actually came to the competition this year?

Cloyd, still waiting anxiously for Lydia, looked up and spotted the man. He hurried over, his excitement obvious.

"Mr. Norwood, you're here!"

He was just as excited as he'd been to see Lydia. The two most important judges for the day were Miss L and the man standing in front of him. Blake Norwood, head of Norwood Enterprises the main investor for the event.

Blake nodded slightly. "Is that the founder of LYLX?

"Yes, Mr. Norwood. She's a judge this year, same as you."

Blake nodded again and glanced at the crowd, but all he could see was someone in

a black baseball cap. Her face was still a mystery.

"I'll show you to the reception room for a break. The competition starts in about thirty minutes."

"Alright."

Cloyd personally led Blake away,, while the crowd around Lydia just kept getting bigger. Before long, half the venue knew that Misshad arrived, and she was surrounded by fans desperate for an autograph.

Lydia was starting to panic a little. She made a mental note to get back at Cloyd later for tipping everyone off.

After ten minutes of nonstop

signing, Lydia finally managed to escape, slipping past the reception room and heading straight for the judges section he lighting there was dim, and she found her seat, flipped her nameplate face-down, and pulled out her phone to play a game.

As soon as she logged in, the chat in her gaming community exploded.

[Holy crap, guys, Queen L just logged in!]

[No way! The top player in the whole server, Queen L, is actually here!] [Queen L! Please, carry me!]

Lydia leaned back in her chair, totally relaxed, sniping enemies in the game without breaking a sweat. Just as she landed a perfect. headshot, someone tapped gently" on the table.

Excuse me, please move to the audience section."
