Chapter 861

chapter861

Kylie and Cameron felt just as lost as everyone else. They had no idea who the superstar Elliot was talking about could be. Still, both of them had this strange, unshakable feeling. That person had to be Lydia.

It was always Lydia. She'd shocked them so many times before, always full of surprises, that hearing she was some music legend actually made sense. Lydia was just that extraordinary.

The fans finally snapped out of their daze. When they realized it wasn't some

newbie but an actual superstar, the energy in the room soared.

"Who is it? Who's the queen of pop?"

"Is it Ivy?"

"Can't be. I checked her socials, she's out of the country."

"Then who? No way... is it Lorelei?"

"Lorelei? No, seriously, is that even possible? If it's really Lorelei, I'll bow down to Elliot right here."

"Come on, it won't be Lorelei. She never does live shows and barely shows her face. Why would she come out for this?"

"Yeah, I don't buy it either. Lorelei is the most talented and the laziest queen in the business. She's basically a ghost. I can never find any fresh gossip on her."

While the crowd buzzed with rumors and guesses, the lights suddenly faded. Music started to play, soft at first, then soaring. A voice, clear and ethereal, floated through the hall and wrapped around everyone like a spell.

The stadium instantly exploded in cheers.

"Oh my god, it's Lorelei! It's really her! My goddess!"

"Elliot is insane! He actually got Lorelei on stage!"

"Is he for real? Lorelei's fee must be through the roof. Can he even afford this?"

"This ticket was worth every penny! I get to see my idol perform and witness the most mysterious artist in the industry!"

At the back of the stage, a platform began to rise, and Lydia appeared, bathed in a soft, dazzling light. The crowd lost it, screams bouncing off the walls.

She looked breathtaking in a black gown that flowed like midnight ink, mysterious, and deep. The dress was made from layers of sheer tulle and silk, each layer embroidered with delicate black lace, like thorny flowers blooming in the dark. skirt hung smooth and heavy, shifting with her every step like ripples on a shadowy lake. A row of sparkling black gems hugged her waist, glinting like stars in a night sky, highlighting her slim figure.

Her bodice was strapless and fitted, sequins and silk threads woven together in a pattern that gleamed coldly under the lights, almost like scales. Draped over her shoulders was a cape of black feathers each one catching the light with an gerie shimmer, as if touched by magic. When the breeze caught them, the feathers trembled, like a night spirit ready to take flight.

Her mask was crafted from dark metal, its lines clean and sharp, giving her a fierce, mysterious look. On the left, a black rose was carved into it, petals unfurling with a dangerous kind of beauty, like it was hiding a secret.

As Lydia sang and moved toward the audience, it felt like she was pulling everyone into a dark, enchanted dream. The moment hung in the air, almost unreal.

Then the crowd snapped out of it and the noise hit like a tidal wave-cheers, screams, applause, all crashing together. Glow sticks lit up everywhere, a sea of color rolling through the arena.

"Lorelei! Lorelei! She's my secret goddess!"

"I can't believe I'm so lucky! Two legends in one night!"

Kylie and the others could barely believe what they were seeing. They were so excited, they almost jumped Especially Kylie Lorelei had always been her idol. Who could have guessed her favorite singer was actually her own daughter?

up to wave at Lydia.

She grabbed Cameron's arm, eyes wide with joy. Did you see that? Lydia is Lorelei!

Our baby girl is my favorite singer!"
