Chapter 957

chapter957

Lydia eased up on the gas, and sure enough, the cars behind her sped up and swerved right in front of her, blocking her way. The doors flew open and out poured a dozen or so big guys in black, looking tough and mean as they surrounded her.

"Get out of the car, you brat!"

"Damn, you made us chase you all over town!"

"Hey, look at this one. Not bad. Maybe we should teach her a lesson."

"Shut up. Get her out first. We'll talk after!"

A couple of them moved toward her car, ready to smash the window. But before they could even lift a fist, Lydia shoved her door open with so much force it knocked two of the guys flat on their backs. The slam echoed, and for a second, everyone just stared.

One bald guy whistled, looking her up and down. Not bad, little lady. Didn't think you had it in you. But you're in our hands now. Let's see what you got."

He started moving in, his grin turning nasty. Lydia's eyes were ice cold, sharp enough to cut. She rolled her wrists, her fitted suit showing off a body that looked delicate but moved like it was built for power.

The bald guy lunged. Lydia barely blinked. Still sitting in the driver's seat, she kicked out, catching him right in the chest. He flew backward and hit the ground hard. It was so smooth, so quick, nobody even saw it coming.

The rest of the guys froze, totally shocked. None of them expected this. It just didn't make sense.

"What are you waiting for? Go get her!" The two men who'd been floored by the door finally staggered up, yelling at the others.

That snapped them out of it. They all rushed at Lydia, faces twisted with anger. But she was faster. She moved like a cat, weaving through them, her punches and kicks landing hard, each one right on target. In just a few minutes tough guys were sprawled across the ground

groaning in pain and clutching their bruises.

Lydia stood in the middle of the chaos, calm and collected, a sly little smile tugging at her lips. She straightened her suit, looked over the mess she'd made and then pressed the point of her high heel right onto one guy's chest

"You gonna tell me who sent you, or do I have to make you talk the hard way?"

The heel dug in, and the guy gasped for air. "Please, I'm nobody. We just do what we're told. Spare me, okay?"

Lydia wasn't in the mood for begging. "How about I toss you all in the river and let the fish sort it out?"

She sounded like she actually meant

it, and with the river right there,

nobody was about to argue. Fear flickered in their eyes. They wanted to run but their bodies would cooperate. All they could do was le there, helpless.

It felt like they were fish just waiting for the knife. The fear was real. Some of them looked like they might actually pee themselves.

One guy, face already bruised, whimpered at the man next to him. "Chester, didn't you say these dudes were pros? Why'd we get wrecked so fast?"

Chester could barely breathe, face twisted in pain. "Hell if I know, man! How was I supposed to guess she was some kind of WWE queen?"

Lydia heard his voice and walked over, eyes locked on him. "So you're the one in charge here?"

Chester's mind was spinning. How could someone so pretty be this terrifying? She'd flattened a dozen men in just a few minutes, and none of them could even get up. It was unreal.

Chester squeezed his legs together, trying to keep his cool. "It's not me, really. The guy with the mohawk, he's the boss. We all just follow his lead."
