chapter861
“Holy cow, your man is here.” Hertha felt the powerful aura too, gripping Thalassa’s arm tightly,
whispering in awe.
Thalassa said nothing, standing her ground, her eyes filled with apprehension as she watched
Lysander approach.
“You didn’t call him yesterday, yet he knew you were at the beach. I didn’t see you call him today either,
yet he’s found you again. How? Hertha pressed herself against Thalassa nervously, whispering in her
ear.
She was genuinely curious.

How could one person know so much?
Thalassa said nothing, glancing down at the necklace she wore.
Hertha picked up on her subtle movement, and followed her gaze, spotting the cloud pendant necklace
hanging from her neck.
This necklace was the same one she had seen before with Thalassa, the one emitting a glow from the
pendant that contained a tracking device.
Hertha suddenly understood.
No wonder Lysander knew Thalassa’s every move. He had her under his complete control!
It was terrifying. There was no privacy whatsoever.
“Are you not coming over?” Lysander’s voice, low and icy, rang out.
Thalassa’s pupils flickered, her hands clenched at her sides. She wanted to refuse him, but with Hertha
there, she couldn’t risk Lysander’s anger spilling onto her.
She pulled her arm from Hertha’s grip and walked towards Lysander.
“Thalassa…” Hertha called out in worry.
Thalassa turned back, reassuring her, “Hertha, it’s late. You should go rest. The bar district is too
dangerous. Let’s not go there anymore.” Her words, of course, were for Lysander’s ears, to let him
know she wouldn’t be going to the bar again.
“Alright, you should rest too. Call me if you want to go shopping.” Hertha said.
“Okay,” Thalassa replied, turning back and walking to Lysander.
Lysander grabbed her hand and led her away from the mall, his actions decisive and indisputable.
After helping Thalassa into the car, he got in himself.
The driver drove away, and the car smoothly navigated the asphalt road.
Lysander’s presence was overwhelming and icy, stifling the air around them. Thalassa kept her gaze
fixed on the window, while Lysander’s deep eyes remained on her, icy and penetrating, sending chills
down her spine.
She appeared calm, but her heart was pounding with anxiety.
“Avoiding me, are you?” Lysander turned her face towards him, his rough palm exuding a powerful
masculinity.
Forced to confront his stern, cold face, Thalassa’s pupils flickered, knowing this, was not the time to
provoke him.
She said, “No.”
“Really?” Lysander’s thumb gently brushed her delicate chin.
Thalassa felt the imminent danger, like she was a prey being licked by a lion in the jungle.
She held her breath, her heartbeat slowing down, not daring to make a sound, fearing to anger him and
reveal his wild nature.
He has done things to her in the car before.
For a man like Lysander, no place could deter him from his prey.
“You claimed not to go to Royal Estates, and not wanting to see the kids anymore, didn’t you?”
Lysander’s icy and imposing presence loomed over Thalassa, searing and perilous.
Thalassa’s pupils contracted, her heart thumped. She grabbed Lysander’s hand that was holding her
chin. “No, how could I not want to see the kids? I just haven’t hung out with Hertha in a while and
wanted to catch up today. You shouldn’t overthink things.”
