Chapter 1693

chapter1693

"Well," a deep voice came from the doorway.

Aurora looked up as a man wearing a bronze mask slowly walked in. His eyes, visible behind the mask, glinted with a dark light-wicked and cold. He exuded a malevolent aura that sent a chill down everyone's spine.

A mask?

Aurora and Abigail exchanged a look.

"Mr. Vesper, these are the new girls I've brought for you." Gina smiled fawningly at the man. "There were originally five virgins, but one of them didn't know her place, so I didn't bring her for your inspection."

"Is that so?"

His gaze swept over the terrified girls in front of him. Each of them felt a chill run down her back, her palms turning inexplicably cold.

His eyes paused on Aurora's face for two seconds before moving on nonchalantly.

Aurora's heart skipped a beat.

Was it her imagination?

It seemed like that man had looked at her for a moment longer than the others.

"Not bad," the man said in a languid tone, his thin lips curving slightly upward. "Are they all here willingly?"

"Of course, of course!" Gina said obsequiously. "I know your rules, Mr. Vesper." The masked man nodded, his gaze shifting back to the girls. His voice was low. "Are you all here of your own free will?"

The girls looked at each other, stunned. They had been kidnapped. How could they possibly be here willingly?

"I'll give you one more chance," the man said again, his voice still enthralling. "I don't force women here."

This was their chance!

A spark of excitement lit up in the girls' eyes. Maybe this man didn't know how they'd gotten here and would let them go!

Abigail's heart pounded, and just as she was about to step forward and speak, someone tugged on her sleeve.

Surprised, Abigail turned to see the grave look in Aurora's eyes.

"What's wrong?"

Aurora frowned and slowly shook her head, signaling for Abigail not to do anything rash.

Though confused, Abigail held her tongue.

"Mr. Vesper" a girl suddenly dropped

to her knees. "Mr. Vesper, I'm.

here willingly! Please, I

you, let me go!"

Gina's face darkened when she saw her. She looked like she wanted to say

something but managed to restrain herself.

"Of course I can let you go," the masked man said, his voice almost hypnotic. "But

do you know where you are?"

The girl numbly shook her head.

The man said, "You've probably heard of the Delta, haven't you?"

Aurora's face turned deathly pale.

This was the lawless territory of the Delta!

The Delta was an extremely chaotic and dark region.

Because there was no government to manage it, the area was rife with turmoil and all sorts of illegal trade.

No one wanted to come to a place like this.

With no one to protect you, you could be knocked out and sold again the moment you stepped outside.

The kneeling girl's face was ashen. This was the Delta?

It was hopeless. There was no hope of her ever going back home!

"However..." The man's tone suddenly shifted, a smile playing on his lips. "Since you want to leave, then you can leave."

The man beckoned. "Someone, throw her out."

"Yes, sir!" Two bodyguards in black suits entered from outside and mercilessly hauled the kneeling girl to her feet.

The girl snapped back to her senses. "No, Mr. Vesper, I won't leave! I really won't leave!"

If she stayed here, she might have slim chance of survival. But if she

was thrown out she probable

wouldn't have any hope at all!

"Not leaving?" the man's tone rose, his voice chillingly cold. "You already

said you wanted to go Bas Z

already agreed to let you."

"Mr. Vesper, I was wrong... I was really wrong..."

The man laughed coldly, his eyes behind the mask deep and cruel.

"I am a man of my word. I don't go back on what I say. What are you two waiting

for? Throw her out."
